ACORNS aims to bring together and provide advice to professionals working in the Connected & Automated Vehicle (CAV) field to better enable and speed up the acceptance by the general public of the safety benefits of using fully automated vehicles in the UK.
The Automated Vehicles Act will allow the use of fully automated vehicles on UK roads, but the take up of these will be dependent on how quickly they are seen to be of benefit to road users.
By working together, professionals in government and the private sector in the CAV field can begin to make the difference needed.
